LANSING THEATRE AND PERFORMING ARTS BOOSTER CLUB (LTAPA)
In June of 1995 LTAPA was formed to provide support to the many Lansing students involved in theatre and music groups throughout the district. Over the years, funds raised through dues, donations and various fundraising events, LTAPA has been able to purchase sound and lighting equipment, seats for the orchestra pit and concert wear for the Varsity Chorale. All equipment purchased with LTAPA funds have been donated to the Lansing School District. Additionally, LTAPA provides college scholarships to seniors (of LTAPA member parents only), who have demonstrated excellence and dedication to the theatre arts and who plan to continue in their post high school education in the arts. LTAPA raised money for a new piano that was dedicated to Cindy Howell who spent many years in service to Lansing School Districts Music Department and the Lansing Theatre and Performing Arts Booster Club. In 2004, LTAPA helped fund a trip for students to Disney World. We are planning other trips in the future to broaden the horizons of the Lansing Theatre and Performing Arts students.
The LTAPA annual membership ends June 11th of every year. All annual memberships need to be renewed. If you are interested in joining LTAPA, renewing your membership, or making a tax deductible donation, please complete the LTAPA Membership form and submit it with your dues, payable to: LTAPA.
